Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processing including invoice verification, coding, and payment scheduling
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with proactive communication
- Optimize payment workflows using ERP systems to enhance efficiency and reduce processing time
- Conduct month-end closing activities and support financial reporting requirements
- Develop internal controls to prevent fraud and ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Collaborate with procurement and accounting teams to resolve payment issues
- Analyze AP data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience in a corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics)
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and financial compliance standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Proven experience in month-end closing and financial reporting
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA) preferred
