Responsibilities
- Process high-volume invoices and manage payment cycles for 500+ vendors
- Conduct complex reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in ERP systems
- Lead month-end closing activities and AP reporting for executive leadership
- Optimize vendor payment terms to improve cash flow metrics
- Implement process improvements using automation tools like Coupa
- Train junior AP staff on compliance and best practices
- Collaborate with procurement and treasury on strategic vendor initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of high-volume accounts payable experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) preferred
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
- Proven success in process optimization and automation
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing vendor disputes and audits
