Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable cycle including invoice processing, verification, and payment scheduling
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with proactive communication
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) to enhance efficiency
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual financial reviews
- Maintain accurate vendor master data and compliance documentation
- Analyze spend patterns and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Mentor junior AP staff and cross-functional finance partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience in mid-to-large organizations
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
- Proven experience with process automation tools (e.g., Coupa, Tipalti)
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) preferred
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
