Responsibilities
- Review, code, and process high-volume invoices with 100% accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain and update vendor master files, resolve invoice discrepancies, and negotiate terms.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of AP sub-ledgers and general ledger accounts.
- Communicate professionally with vendors regarding payment schedules and account inquiries.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules for audits.
- Implement and adhere to internal controls, SOX compliance, and financial policies.
- Identify process improvements to streamline AP workflows and reduce errors.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Index/Match).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and internal control procedures.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Exceptional organizational skills, high attention to detail, and time management.
