Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable cycle including invoice processing, verification, and payment scheduling
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies within 5 business days
- Optimize payment processing using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle experience preferred)
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to resolve payment issues
- Prepare monthly AP reports and analyze aging reports for process improvements
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX regulations
- Maintain organized digital and physical documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience in a corporate setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Strong attention to detail with error-free processing
- Excellent communication skills for vendor interactions
- AP certification (e.g., CAPP) a plus
- Ability to meet monthly deadlines in a fast-paced environment
