Responsibilities
- Process high-volume accounts payable transactions with 99.9% accuracy
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve payment discrepancies
- Reconcile AP sub-ledgers with general ledger accounts
- Implement and optimize AP workflows using SAP/Oracle systems
- Assist in month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with SOX requirements
- Train and mentor junior AP team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of high-volume accounts payable experience
- Advanced proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or comparable ERP systems
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance standards
- Proven ability to manage complex vendor relationships
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
