Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes including invoice verification, coding, and payment processing
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Optimize payment cycles to maximize cash flow and early payment discounts
- Collaborate with procurement and departments to resolve invoice discrepancies
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle experience preferred)
- Prepare month-end closing reports and assist with audits
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors
Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience in a corporate environment
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP)
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- Experience with high-volume invoice processing (500+ invoices/month)
- AP certification (CAPP) preferred
