Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and optimize cash flow management
- Prepare detailed financial statements and variance analyses for executive leadership
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX regulations, and internal controls
- Lead cross-departmental financial planning and budgeting initiatives
- Implement process improvements using accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA/MBA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks/SAP)
- Demonstrated experience with financial reporting and audit procedures
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder presentations
- Proven track record of process optimization and compliance management
