Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation of accounts.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Supervise the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Conduct internal audits and assist with external audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Prepare tax filings and assist with budget preparation and forecasting.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
