Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare, analyze, and distribute monthly financial statements and reports to management.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist with the preparation of year-end financial audits and tax filings.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or financial management.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Experience with payroll processing is a plus.
