Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure financial integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
- Streamline financial processes and implement best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Superb communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
