Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss reports.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and GAAP standards.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and manage general ledger entries.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and external audit requests.
- Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of financial analysis and budgeting processes.
- CPA certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
