Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with precision
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for executive leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct internal audits and ensure GAAP compliance
- Collaborate with tax team on quarterly filings and tax strategies
- Mentor junior accountants using advanced accounting software
- Develop financial forecasting models for departmental budgets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel functions
- Proven experience with financial reporting and auditing
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
