Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Manage and process weekly payroll for all employees with 100% accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and ensure compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Perform variance analysis and provide insights to management to support financial decision-making.
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel to maintain organized and efficient financial records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in general accounting and payroll processing.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet strict weekly deadlines.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- CPA certification is a plus but not mandatory.
