Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage and oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Perform general ledger duties, including journal entries and account classifications.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure financial controls are effective and efficient.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial forecasting and budget analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
