Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes with 99.8% accuracy
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue optimization
- Prepare and submit regulatory compliance reports (tax filings, audits)
- Implement and improve accounting systems for efficiency gains
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record of month-end closes with minimal errors
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax compliance regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
