Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end monthly and annual financial close processes with precision.
- Prepare detailed financial statements and perform variance analysis to support executive decision-making.
- Oversee general ledger activities, including account reconciliations and audit trails.
- Lead the month-end close procedures, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Collaborate with the tax team to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Mentor junior staff members and conduct performance reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- CPA certification or CMA designation is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
