Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, to provide insights to management.
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings, ensuring full compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure all financial data is up to date for weekly processing.
- Conduct internal audits and financial reviews to identify areas for process improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (advanced functions), and general accounting software.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Colorado tax compliance regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines in a weekly reporting cycle.
