Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and internal policies.
- General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.
- Compliance & Audits: Assist in external audits and internal controls reviews, ensuring full regulatory compliance.
- Payroll Oversight: Monitor payroll processing to ensure accurate deduction and tax filings.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and enhance data integrity.
- Month-End Close: Lead the month-end close process, including variance analysis and the preparation of management reports.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree (CPA, CMA) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of US GAAP, tax regulations, and financial analysis principles.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to stakeholders.
