Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance and month-end closings
- Prepare accurate financial statements and regulatory compliance reports
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow analysis
- Implement and optimize financial systems with QuickBooks and ERP integration
- Conduct internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Mentor junior accountants and cross-functional finance teams
- Partner with leadership on budget forecasting and strategic financial planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA/MBA preferred
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Demonstrated expertise in GAAP compliance and tax regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state financial operations and audit procedures
