Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Manage general ledger operations and account reconciliations
- Lead month-end closing processes with variance analysis
- Develop and maintain internal financial controls
- Collaborate with audit teams for quarterly/annual reviews
- Streamline accounting workflows using QuickBooks Enterprise
- Mentor junior accounting staff on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance
- Experience with multi-state tax filings
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines
