Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely processing of transactions
- Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
- Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis for client portfolios
- Collaborate with tax team to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- Implement and improve accounting processes using QuickBooks and SAP systems
- Lead month-end closing procedures and ensure accurate financial reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Proven experience with financial reporting and reconciliation processes
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize competing tasks
- Professional communication skills for client/stakeholder interactions
