We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our elite finance team in San Jose, CA. Responsibilities
- Execute end-of-month and end-of-week financial closing procedures with precision and efficiency.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Perform detailed account reconciliations for general ledger accounts, bank statements, and intercompany transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
- Ensure strict adherence to GAAP and internal control policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and optimize financial processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate status is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with a preference for weekend shift experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
