Responsibilities
- Process and post journal entries, reconcile bank statements, and manage accounts payable/receivable efficiently.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements, by month-end close.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and external audits.
- Review and verify payroll calculations and expense reports for accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain accurate financial records in strict accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Collaborate with the management team to improve financial processes and reporting standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a weekend shift environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Must be available to work weekends (Fri-Sun or Sat-Sun).
