Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and variance reports
- Manage general ledger accounting with weekend reconciliation cycles
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Coordinate external audit engagements and compliance documentation
- Implement process improvements for weekend shift financial workflows
- Maintain internal controls and SOX compliance procedures
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (VBA a plus)
- Experience with weekend shift accounting operations
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations
- Proven ability to meet tight weekend deadlines
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
