Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute the month-end and year-end close processes for assigned accounts.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements and variance reports.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of bank reconciliations and general ledger entries.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize budgeting and forecasting models.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and audit schedules.
- Maintain up-to-date accounting policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or financial services environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
