Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with weekend-specific deadlines
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles for weekend operations
- Coordinate with external auditors during weekend engagements
- Implement and maintain internal controls for weekend financial activities
- Support tax preparation and compliance initiatives
- Lead weekend cross-departmental financial reporting sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of public or corporate accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Strong understanding of GAAP and SOX compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to work independently on weekend shifts
