Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15+ diverse client portfolios
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Develop and maintain internal financial controls
- Collaborate with auditors during tax season compliance reviews
- Implement process improvements using QuickBooks Online and Sage
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in GAAP and California tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
