Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and intercompany account reconciliations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
- Prepare audit schedules and support external auditors during annual reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting setting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or similar accounting software.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and v-lookups.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
