Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns and ensure timely filing.
- Conduct internal audits and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts with high precision.
- Collaborate with management to prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Maintain accurate records for all financial transactions and reporting cycles.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
