Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP.
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts for senior management.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely processing.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce financial risks.
Qualifications
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification is essential.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in a UK-based accounting environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Sage, Xero, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Macros).
- Excellent understanding of UK tax laws and financial reporting standards.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
