Responsibilities
- Oversee the general ledger and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any outstanding discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns.
- Conduct internal audits and compliance checks.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage the annual budget.
- Support external auditors during the annual audit process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or similar accounting software.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups) are mandatory.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
