Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and general ledger reconciliation
- Oversee month-end/year-end closing processes and audit coordination
- Develop financial models for budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements (SOX, SEC)
- Lead process improvement projects to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance and audits
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
