Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, payments, and collections.
- Perform complex bank reconciliations and variance analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and coordinate with external auditors for year-end audits.
- Maintain and improve internal controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with department heads to assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in general accounting, financial reporting, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of financial regulatory standards, GAAP, and internal control procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
