Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, balance sheets, and P&L reports for diverse client portfolios
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and state-specific tax requirements in Arizona
- Lead budgeting processes and variance analysis for multiple business units
- Implement and optimize internal controls to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial forecasting and strategic planning initiatives
- Manage audit processes and respond to inquiries from external auditors and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel (VBA skills highly valued)
- Demonstrated expertise in Arizona tax compliance and multi-state financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data and trends
- Proven track record of leading successful month-end closes and audit processes
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills in fast-paced environments
- Active CPA license required
