Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger accounting and ensure high accuracy of all financial records.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and coordinate with external auditors.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage credit card transactions.
- Collaborate with the North Carolina regional office to ensure consistent financial reporting standards across all branches.
- Streamline accounts payable and receivable processes to improve cash flow.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Deep understanding of US tax laws and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
