Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- General Ledger: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis to identify discrepancies.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial processes are compliant with federal and state tax laws and internal policies.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas of improvement in financial processes and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Payroll Support: Assist in the month-end close process, including the preparation of journal entries.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification is a plus).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Integrity: High level of professional ethics and confidentiality.
