Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Perform bank reconciliations and variance analysis to identify discrepancies and financial trends.
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation filings to ensure full compliance.
- Streamline financial processes and recommend improvements for greater operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide accurate financial data for decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or finance.
- CPA certification is highly preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
