Your Role
You will oversee the company's daily financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and providing critical analysis to support decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timely month-end close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Supervise the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts.
- Assist with the annual budgeting process and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification preferred).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
