Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements for corporate clients
- Lead internal audits and ensure SOX compliance for portfolio companies
- Develop tax strategies and manage multi-state compliance filings
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Mentor junior accountants and cross-functional team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in GAAP/IFRS compliance and tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with VBA/macros and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau)
- Proven track record in process optimization and cost reduction
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Active CPA license required
