Responsibilities
- Prepare and examine monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger account analysis to ensure data integrity.
- Assist with the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Support the budget preparation process and conduct variance analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and provide detailed reports for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate is highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
