Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and variance reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Assist with the preparation of federal, state, and local tax filings.
- Perform internal audits and ensure internal controls are in place.
- Collaborate with department heads to assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- CPA certification or CMA designation is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite) and MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
