Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable workflows and optimize cash flow management
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for leadership and stakeholders
- Lead audit preparation and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial controls and reporting accuracy
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-functional team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in corporate or public accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and financial reporting software
- Proven expertise in month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial analysis
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax compliance, and internal controls
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
