Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the general ledger and financial reporting cycles.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure full compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies with high attention to detail.
- Conduct internal audits and cost analyses to improve financial performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly desirable.
- Proficient in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, internal controls, and auditing standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
