Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Lead internal audits and implement process improvements for financial controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing for 50+ employees
- Develop and maintain financial models for business expansion into Texas markets
- Ensure accurate tax filings and manage relationships with external auditors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel with VBA skills
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, auditing, and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Experience managing accounting teams and implementing process improvements
- Knowledge of multi-state tax regulations (NV/TX experience highly valued)
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in high-volume environments
