Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and optimize cash flow management
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and operational metrics
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and audit requirements
- Implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy
- Lead special projects including budgeting forecasting and financial modeling
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
