Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the general ledger and accounting functions.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Conduct detailed bank reconciliations and cash flow analysis to ensure financial accuracy.
- Supervise the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring vendor and client compliance.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis to management.
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and implement internal control improvements.
- Review and approve journal entries and financial reports for accuracy and completeness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial data to stakeholders.
