Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close processes and financial statement preparation
- Lead internal audits and compliance initiatives ensuring adherence to GAAP and SOX regulations
- Develop and maintain robust financial models for forecasting and budgeting purposes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and drive efficiency
- Mentor junior accountants and implement continuous improvement strategies
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable functions and general ledger reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze variance reports for executive leadership reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA strongly preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience with public or corporate finance teams
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (Power Query/VBA a plus)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, audit preparation, and tax compliance
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
- Proven track record of process improvement and cost optimization initiatives
- Strong communication skills with ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders
