Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes with reconciliation of complex GL accounts
- Lead financial statement preparation under GAAP standards for diverse client portfolios
- Implement process improvements using advanced Excel and QuickBooks Enterprise
- Coordinate audit engagements with external CPA firms
- Mentor junior accountants while maintaining compliance with SOX regulations
- Analyze variance reports and provide strategic financial insights to leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and financial reporting software
- Strong audit experience with multi-entity consolidation knowledge
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in fast-paced environments
