Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial data.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and coordinate with external auditors.
- Mentor junior accounting staff and provide training on accounting software and processes.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Develop and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Conduct variance analysis to provide insights for business decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification preferred).
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage) and ERP systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
